Plain on purpose, good for years.
A Quiet, Everyday Jacket
Not every leather jacket needs to look tough. This one is calm and practical, in a mid-tan colour with a flat collar lined in brown corduroy. The corduroy is warm against your neck and adds a small touch of texture. A centre zip closes the front and a snap tab holds the collar flat.
Two slanted pockets with zips hold keys and a phone, and one chest pocket with a snap flap suits a pen or cards. A yoke seam across the back gives the shoulders room.
Side snap tabs at the hem adjust the fit and each cuff closes with a single snap. It looks right over a flannel shirt or a plain tee and works with jeans or work trousers.
A History of Violence Tom Stall Leather Jacket Features
- Tan leather: smooth, in a mid-brown tone.
- Corduroy collar: dark brown, flat and soft.
- Centre zip: with a snap neck tab.
- Slanted pockets: two zipped, plus a chest pocket.
Fit and Care
The fit is straight and relaxed, so order your usual size. Wipe it with a soft cloth, condition the leather twice a year and hang it somewhere dry. Keep the corduroy dry too. This is a film-inspired style, not official merchandise.
A History of Violence Tom Stall Leather Jacket is one of the Movie Jackets at New USA Jackets. A close cousin worth a look is the men’s distressed brown leather a-2 aviator flight jacket.
