Built for long shifts and short tempers.
A Sport Jacket With Weight
This jacket borrows the shape of the mid-century sport coat and makes it from leather. Three buttons run down the front, usually with the top one left open, and the notch lapels sit flat against the chest. The walnut colour is deep and warm, with a smooth, even finish.
Dark suede patches at the elbows add texture and protect the sleeves. The flap pockets include a small ticket pocket on the right, a detail you see on older tailored jackets, and the stitching matches the leather so the colour stays unbroken.
A single vent at the back lets you move and sit comfortably. The shoulders are structured but not stiff, so the jacket keeps its shape through a long day.
L.A. Confidential Bud White Leather Jacket Features
- Walnut-brown leather: deep, smooth and even.
- Three-button front: with notch lapels.
- Suede elbow patches: dark brown, on both sleeves.
- Ticket pocket: a small extra pocket on the right.
Fit and Care
The cut is straight and trim, so order your usual size and go up one for a heavy knit. Wipe the leather with a soft cloth, condition it twice a year and keep the suede patches dry. This is a film-inspired style, not official merchandise.
