Worn-in from the first day.
An Aged Finish, Done Properly
The leather is dark brown, then rubbed back at the edges, seams and shoulders so the lighter tone shows through. It has the soft, lived-in look of a jacket worn for years, without the fake damage some distressed pieces carry.
The cut is straight and plain: a front zip, a throat tab and two slash pockets. No fringe, no yokes, no western details.
The finish was aged on purpose. Edges are burnished lighter than the dark brown body, so the jacket looks as if it has been worn for years, and a straight cut keeps it uncluttered, with no western details.
Vintage Shearling Jacket Features
- Aged brown leather: oiled, with burnished edges.
- Aged cream collar: thick and rounded.
- Brass pull: antique finish on the zip.
- Slash pockets: two plain openings.
Sizing, Care and Patina
Take your normal size for a straight fit. The finish will keep softening, so avoid heavy conditioners that darken it. Wipe it with a dry cloth and keep it away from direct heat. A little wear will make the jacket look better, not worse.
