It is an inspired design, not official merchandise. The plates are decorative styling, not protective armour.
Wasteland Armour, Worn In
Where polished armour belongs to heroes, this coat belongs to survivors. The leather is distressed in gunmetal and brown tones, so the surface looks scratched, dusty and weathered, as though it has crossed a lot of ruined country. The colour is deliberately dull.
The shoulder plates are held on with rivets, which gives the outline a squared, imposing shape. Belts add to the effect, wrapping the coat and drawing the hardware together. Each strap and rivet suggests repairs made out of necessity rather than fashion.
Warrior Armor Leather Jacket Features
- Distressed gunmetal-brown leather: a worn, weathered shade.
- Riveted shoulder plates: raised, studded panels for a heavy outline.
- Belts: straps that wrap the body and add hardware.
- Battlecoat styling: long, rugged and post-apocalyptic.
Wearing a Battlecoat, Sizing and Looking After It
Keep the rest of the outfit worn and dark. This is a large coat with plates and belts, so allow for the bulk. Choose your regular size if you are wearing a tee or light knit. Because the finish is already distressed, light scuffs simply blend in. Even so, condition the leather a few times a year so that it does not dry out and crack, and wipe it with a soft cloth.
The Warrior Armor Leather Jacket is the toughest piece in the gaming range at New USA Jackets. Browse all Gaming Jackets, or compare it with a brighter armoured style, the unisex armor leather jacket.
