Smart enough for the office, warm enough for the dock.
Naval Cut, Warmer Lining
Peacoats were made for cold decks and strong wind. The wide lapels turn up to cover your ears, and two columns of buttons overlap across the chest to block draughts. Inside, the cream shearling does the rest.
Hand-warmer pockets at the waist keep your fingers comfortable on the walk to the station.
The peacoat was a naval design, built for wind off the sea. Here that double-breasted front is done in midnight-navy leather, with a back vent that makes it easier to walk, climb stairs or get into a car without pulling the hem.
Shearling Peacoat Details
- Midnight-navy leather: smooth with a quiet sheen.
- Double-breasted front: six buttons in two columns.
- Turn-up lapels: wide, cream-lined edges.
- Waist pockets: two flapped hand warmers.
Fit and Care
The coat has a tailored shape with enough room for a jumper. Choose your normal size, or go up one for a thick knit. Wipe the leather with a soft cloth and let it dry away from heat. Wear it with grey trousers, a white shirt and brown boots.
