A standard puffer can look like a sleeping bag. The wide quilting here is cut on a cleaner, tighter line, and the soft leather-look surface sits better with a shirt and chinos than a nylon shell does.

Cream shearling runs along the zip edge and inside the cuffs, so the places the cold gets in are the places that are padded.

The quilting runs in wide horizontal channels, which keeps the jacket light and stops the fill from shifting. Pair it with jeans or work trousers and it will not feel bulky.
