Goatskin looks different, and wears differently too.
Why Goatskin
Goatskin has a tight, pebbled surface that hides small scratches and resists scuffs better than many smooth leathers. It is also lighter, so the jacket feels easy on the shoulders after a long day.
A hook-and-eye collar closes the neck in the traditional way, and a nickel zip gives the front a cool metallic accent.
Pebbled goatskin does not pick up fingerprints and light scratches as easily as glossy leather, so it is a practical black jacket for daily wear. The nickel zip adds a cooler tone against the dark surface.
Goatskin Leather Flight Jacket Features
- Pebbled goatskin grain: fine texture with a matte look.
- Hook-and-eye collar: the classic A-2 closure.
- Nickel zip: with scalloped flap pockets.
- Black knit trim: cuffs and waistband.
Fit and Care
The cut is trim. Take your usual size, or go one up for a chunky sweater. Goatskin is naturally tough, so a damp cloth is all it needs after wear. Condition it twice a year and hang it on a shaped hanger away from heat.
